How to: Enter a formula.
Solution:
Select the desired cell, type the formula, and press ENTER.
1) Select the cell to contain the formula.
2) Type = (an equal sign).
3) Type the first value, cell reference, or name.
NOTE: No spaces are allowed in a formula.
4) Type the desired operator.
NOTE: Operators include math symbols such as +, -, *, /.
5) Type the second value, cell reference, or name.
6) Type all the other operators and values, cell reference, or names until the formula is complete.
EXAMPLE of a formula: =C5+C8*C10/C11-C4
7) Press ENTER.
